Bro Accused Of Burning Penis Art Into Dorm Ceiling

"This is kind of unusual."

There's college hijinks. And then there's this.

A University of Iowa student was arrested last week after he allegedly burned "derogatory" penis designs into a dormitory ceiling, police said.

"This is kind of unusual," David Visin, associate director of the University of Iowa Police, told The Huffington Post on Wednesday.

According to a police affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun, a friend of accused student George Sotos saw Sotos "use a lighter to burn the ceiling" on March 26. Sotos admitted to officers that he possibly "caused damage" in the hallway, police wrote.

Sotos, 18, was arrested March 30 on two charges of "reckless use of fire/explosive," according to the campus police's arrest docket. Visin told HuffPost the charges cover separate incidents last month.
