Bryan Colangelo Bashes Chris Bosh

Toronto GM BASHES Chris Bosh After Bolting For Miami

LeBron James' decision to ditch Cleveland for the Miami Heat and team up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh has received plenty of criticism. Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert ripped James in a letter for leaving his hometown immediately after the one-hour special. On Monday, Toronto Raptors president Bryan Colangelo joined the fun, bashing former Raptor Chris Bosh, his decision to leave Canada for South Beach and how he sat out at the end of last season.

According to the Toronto Sun, while talking to radio host Bob McCown of FAN 590, Colangelo said that Bosh didn't care down the stretch of the 2009-2010 season as the Raptors were battling with Chicago for the last playoff spot. He said Bosh chose not to play during the final games, despite being cleared to play.

"Whether he was mentally checked out or just wasn't quite into it down the stretch, he wasn't the same guy," Colangelo said. "I think everybody saw that, but no one wanted to acknowledge it."

He even went onto say that they tried putting several "different pieces" around Bosh, but it never worked "with him as that centrepiece."
