Candice Bergen Travels in Style: A Look Back

A Look Back: Candice Bergen's Scarf

"A Look Back" is a daily column that highlights a moment from fashion's fabulous past. Today's pick is of Candice Bergen passing through an airport in 1967. The former fashion model appeared in the Academy Award winning film Ghandi as journalist Margaret Bourke-White before turning her attention to television with a starring role as another journalist in Murphy Brown. Her portrayal of the show's namesake character was so convincing that CBS asked her to report for 60 Minutes, an offer she declined. Do you think her airport ensemble makes her look like a credentialed professional?
