“Now what?”
That’s the question on a lot of people’s minds following election night on Nov. 8. Despite the poll predictions and hateful candidate rhetoric delivered throughout 2016, Donald Trump was elected president of the United States.
So now what? Now we stand together.
In spite of the results, which may be devastating for many, celebrities tweeted about sticking together, treating each other equally and spreading love in the face of hate.
@Aishu5381 Deep breaths. You're not alone. There are many, many people on your side. The battle's only over when you stop fighting. xoxox

The unthinkable happened before, to my family in WWII. We got thru it. We held each other close. We kept our dignity and held to our ideals.

Scared as y'all.
But we'll get through it.
Grateful for friends. For you.

As Lin-Manuel Miranda once said, “Love is love is love is love is love is love is love.”
