Chicago Police Union Chief Defends Entrance Exam (VIDEO)

Rumors are swirling that the Chicago Police Department is considering doing away with its entrance exam. But plenty of people are unhappy with that idea, including the President of the Fraternal Order of Police, Mark Donahue.

The department has been operating with significantly fewer badges than it is authorized to have, and has been actively attempting to bring in more officers, especially minorities. But Donahue says that removing the exam--which would leave Chicago as the only major city without one--is "an idea that sounds ridiculous."
