Chris Colfer Is Fine With 'Glee' Ending After Season 6 (VIDEO)

'Glee' Star OK With Series Ending

If "Glee" is ending after Season 6, Chris Colfer is OK with that.

Fox boss Kevin Reilly recently said "Glee" will likely end following its sixth season, which is likely to air during the 2014-2015 TV season.

"Where would you go after a sixth season? I think six is a really good number and it's a good amount of time to spend with these characters," Colfer said during a recent appearance on HuffPost Live.

"Glee" had its upcoming Season 5 premiere pushed back a week in September following the death of series star Cory Monteith. The show will deal with writing off Monteith's character, Finn Hudson, during the third episode of Season 5.

"The third episode will deal with the Finn Hudson character being written out of the show," Reilly told reporters at TCA. "That episode will deal directly with the incidents surrounding his death and drug addiction ... Ryan Murphy is going to film PSAs with the cast, as cast members, as friends of his, they're going to speak directly to the audience [about Cory] ... "

"Glee" Season 5 premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
