Christina Hendricks Covers Up At The Women Doing Good Awards (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Christina Hendricks' Surprising Style Choice

On Monday night, Christina Hendricks wowed onlookers with her red carpet style. On Tuesday night, she downright shocked the world.

The star best known for her Autobahn curves and breathtaking bust (also, her two Emmy nominations for her outstanding work in "Mad Men") wore a corporate tax rate level low cut gown on Monday at the Toronto premiere of her new film, "I Don't Know How She Does It," prompting blogs to create more slideshows than a 1960s science teacher.

Then, in a move perhaps stolen from the playbook of her Joan Harris character, she showed up Tuesday night at the Doing Good Awards in an outfit so withholding that it may require an epi-pen to revive some men withdrawing from the frequent sight of her significant bosom.

In many ways, it was a brilliant move, hitting back at the expectations created for her at each red carpet she graces. With the Emmys coming up on Sunday, it will be interesting to see how much she shows; will she go back to her inviting openness, or will a parka be next for the actress?

Everyone can make a slideshow like this. But few make them like ours. Behold: the surprisingly high necklines of Christina Hendricks.
