2 Texas State University students have been charged with making false police reports in connection with the death of Erin Hicks, an RA at the school who jumped out a dorm window at a party and died last month.
Christopher Williams, 19 has been accused of providing alcoholic drinks to minors at the party in question. In addition, both he and Kristin McCreery, a student who also jumped out the window with Hicks and sustained injuries, have been accused of making false statements to the police. 6 other students, including another who also jumped out the window, were charged as being minors in possession of alcohol.

About 2 a.m., Hicks, McCreery and Andrew Smith, 19, jumped out of a first-floor window, officials said. Smith was not injured, officials said.
Hicks later died of head injuries, and McCreery suffered back injuries. Previously, investigators said it was unclear whether the three jumped out of the window or fell accidentally.
Hicks was a resident adviser at Laurel Hall and was recently elected to the senate of the Associated Student Government, university officials have said. She was a sophomore studying mass communication.
According to the Associated Press, McCreery is no longer listed as a student at TSU. She has also failed to turn herself in to be arrested.
