Spray Paint Stripes On Your Simple Clutch With This DIY (VIDEO)

Will You Spray Paint A Simple Clutch?

We've sung the praises of stripes -- vertical, horizontal, nautical and collegiate -- because we believe that the classic print can look flattering on any body type when chosen carefully. Yet, we realize there are many of you who are hesitant about crossing the line (no pun intended). So, why not ease your way into wearing stripes with an accessory that you can add when it feels right?

FabSugar fashion reporter Allison McNamara shows us how to create a bold, striped clutch in four simple steps. All you need is Krylon fluorescent spray paint, masking tape and a solid bag. Cut the tape into various widths to make your desired pattern and cover the zipper to protect its hardware. Step outside, cover your clothing and wear a fume mask, then spray a thin layer of paint onto the clutch from at least six inches away. Allow to dry and repeat. Peel tape away slowly and you're finished!
