Colbert Mocks Fox News Unemployment 'Good News' Coverage (VIDEO)

WATCH: Colbert Mocks Fox News' Unemployment Coverage

Jobless claims may have fallen to a four-year low, but that's no cause for celebration. Stephen Colbert knows that, but he was shocked to learn that Fox News doesn't.

In an inspired segment about how there's nothing to look forward to -- and it's definitely Obama's fault -- Colbert mocked Fox News' chirpy coverage of the unemployment "good news," as well as the sobering "bad news" spin on the story offered by Stuart Varney.

Colbert eloquently summed up the way we should all be thinking about the economy under Obama: "Things are getting better, but they're not getting more better any faster, just the same amount of better, which is worse."

Wise words.
