Adults 21-and-over can legally purchase recreational marijuana for the first time in U.S. history starting today in Colorado.
Although hundreds of marijuana businesses have received approval from the state and local authorities, only a fraction of those pot shops around the state were able to get through the lengthy and rigorous licensing process in time to open on Jan. 1.
