Haven't you always wanted to meet Cyndi Lauper? Well, here's your chance...
The queer icon announced this week a new initiative that simultaneously supports her True Colors Fund, while giving participants the opportunity to win a trip to NYC for the annual "Home for the Holidays" concert and and a face-to-face meeting with Lauper herself. This year's "Home for the Holidays" concert line-up is impressive, including rapper 50 Cent, Natalie Maines and, of course, Lauper.
"I'm here to tell you we're celebrating the 4th anniversary of the 'Home For The Holidays' concert on Dec. 6 at the Beacon Theater," Lauper shares in the above video. "It's a big one this year, plus there's a contest... So come on, support the kids. Everybody needs a home for the holidays."
Here's how it works: head here to make a donation to the True Colors fund and you'll automatically be entered into this competition. The fund is an initiative co-founded by Lauper that aims to end lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) homelessness and advocates equality for all.
