'Dancing With The Stars' Double Elimination: Kirstie Alley And Gilles Marini Go Home On 'All-Stars'

Which 'All-Stars' Went Home In The 'DWTS' Double Elimination?

"Dancing with the Stars" contestants faced a double elimination this week and the two all-stars sent home were Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini.

Kirstie Alley and her partner Maks Chmerkovskiy spent the majority of the competition in the bottom, but as "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" favorites, audience votes kept them in the game. "To be asked to come back was an honor," Kirstie said after the results were revealed. "I learned more about dancing."

Fierce competitor Gilles Marini, who was partnered with Peta Murgatroyd, said he "tried his very best" and called it "an incredible experience." He also thanked his wife and "all the fans. Thank you for everything."

Both teams with the highest scores -- Melissa Rycroft and her partner Tony Dovolani and Shawn Johnson and her partner Derek Hough -- made it through to the semi-finals. As did Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy, Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke, and Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff, who were saved at the last minute.

Kylie Minogue kicked off the show with a performance of her classic "Locomotion." There was also a number from the cast of "Newsies" and Ne-Yo performed his single "Let Me Love You."

"Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" airs Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
