This week on "Dancing with the Stars," the contestants honored the best years of their lives with their performances. In an evening dedicated to spouses, children, and personal triumphs, emotions were running high and all of the contestants connected with the audience and judges. So which performances had the judges on their feet? And which faded into the background?

The Dance of the Night:

Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas: No stranger to hard work, Aly chose the song "Titanium" for her dance, honoring the most difficult and rewarding year of her life, the year she won gold in the London Olympics. Her contemporary routine delivered both emotionally and physically. Len called the dance worthy of an Olympic champion and Carrie Ann told her she was mesmerized. Score: 27

The Standouts:

Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy: Zendaya once again proved to be unstoppable, channeling her inner-Beyonce with her "Love on Top" samba. "Beyonce better watch her back!" Carrie Ann said of the dance, and Bruno announced that every kid watching the show wanted to be her. Score: 26

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough: Kellie chose to remember her marriage and even got her husband Kyle Jacob, to sing his song "Say I Do" for the routine. Carrie Ann loved the "beautiful pictures" and Len called it fabulous. Score: 26

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff: Jacoby felt out of place dancing the graceful foxtrot, but, with his son in the audience (to whom he dedicated the routine), Jacoby found his groove. Bruno complimented him on his irresistible "flash and flare" and Carrie Ann thought there was something very joyous about it. Score: 24

The Good:

Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson: Continuing the lovey spirit of the night, Ingo remembered the year of his marriage. The judges all applauded him for his improvement and his ability to follow their critiques. "When you add love to these dances, they blossom," Carrie Ann said, expressing the overall sentiment of the evening. Score: 23

Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess: Andy struck an emotional chord with his simple Viennese Waltz that celebrated his year of sobriety with his daughter. The routine left Carrie Ann in tears, as she applauded the beautiful dance. Bruno declared it to be Andy's best yet and Len called him a hero. Score: 21

D.L. Hughley and Cheryl Burke: After harsh criticism last week, D.L. was desperate to prove himself. Choosing to remember his innocent youth, D.L. danced an upbeat foxtrot. This week, his hard work paid off, with Carrie Ann crying "hallelujah!" and Len declaring it to be "far better." Score: 21

The Mediocre:

Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd: "Bachelor" star Sean dedicated his Viennese Waltz to his wife-to-be Catherine. Len loved the routine, calling Sean steaming and Bruno enjoyed the sweet sentiment behind the performance. Score: 20

Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold: Victor chose to remember the year he won the WBC welterweight championship with his powerful paso doble. Dancing to "We Will Rock You," Victor delivered all the passion necessary for the routine, but lacked in his technical ability. "You're supposed to dance it, not destroy it!" Bruno said of Victor's aggressive style. Still, Len admired his spirit and Carrie Ann appreciated the commitment. Score: 18

Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko: After fainting during rehearsal and spending her practice time in the hospital, Lisa was anxious to take the stage with her cha cha. Though the routine wasn't perfect, the judges applauded her for her ability to pull it off with such little rehearsal time. "I think that there was so much potential there," Carrie Ann said of her performance. Score: 18
