Daniel Norris Catch: Minor League Pitcher Makes Remarkable Face-Saving Grab (VIDEO)

WATCH: Pitcher Somehow Avoids Liner To Face

Lansing Lugnuts pitcher Daniel Norris narrowly avoided a very serious injury during a game last week.

The 20-year-old, who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays' Class A affiliate, used quick reflexes when a line drive was launched right back at him and somehow caught the ball in front of his face. After making the grab, Norris took a second to catch his breath.

“Obviously I just thank the Lord that I’m breathing today and I’m alive and well," he told the Lansing State Journal. "It was definitely pretty crazy.”

Norris' face-saving catch was ranked No. 4 on ESPN's "SportsCenter" on Friday.
