Drinking Game Losers Allegedly Shoot Up Party

A friendly beer pong match at a house party in Ames, Texas, turned violent Sunday afternoon when two men on the losing side allegedly opened fire on guests.

Investigators for the Liberty County Sheriff's Office identified the suspects as Decoris “Red” Rucker, 24, and Chris “Crazy Chris” Hackett.

The duo were part of a group of five men who were allegedly upset after losing a beer pong game in the backyard. Witnesses told police that all five men ran from the home while Rucker and Hackett allegedly shot at partygoers, the Smoking Gun reports.

At least one person was shot. Daihza Jarde Jackson, 19, of Dayton, Texas, was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to her left thigh.

She is in stable condition, according to YourHoustonNews.com.

Rucker, Hackett and three unidentified males fled the scene in a a 2006 4-door, silver Buick.

Rucker later showed up at Kingwood Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg and said he had been shot near Cleveland, Texas, according to the Houston Chronicle.

No arrests have been made, but deputies are still interviewing witnesses in hopes of identifying the three men with Rucker and Hackett.

Police plan to file charges for assault with a deadly weapon. Other charges could be added.
