"Degrassi" returns on Monday, July 16 at 10 p.m. ET on Teen Nick and there's much more drama to come in the teen soap's 12th season.
As the high schoolers return to Degrassi, a few new faces are joining the student body: Campbell Saunders (Dylan Everett), Becky Baker (Sarah Fisher), Luke Baker (Craig Arnold) and Mike Dallas (Demetrius Joyette).
In the exclusive clip above, newcomer Dallas, who's already captain of the hockey team, gets a ride to school with brothers Adam (Jordan Todosey) and Drew (Luke Bilyk). He plays hard and parties hard and has always been the golden boy.
Meanwhile, Adam and Drew catch up with their friends: it looks like Alli (Melinda Shankar) and Dave (Jahmil French) are going strong, Clare (Aislinn Paul) is hoping to reconnect with Eli (Munro Chambers), Drew is preparing to dump Katie (Chloe Rose) after realizing he's really in love with Bianca (Alicia Josipovic). Teen mom Jenna (Jessica Tyler) is clueless about pretty much all of the above.
"I went over there to pull the trigger and her parents gave her a sweater," Drew laments in the sneak peek. "I gotta do it soon or I'll lose Bianca for good."
"Degrassi" returns Monday, July 16 at 10 p.m. ET on TeenNick and will air in a telenovela-style format (Monday through Thursday) for five straight weeks.
