Delaware Election Results 2012: Presidential Winner For The First State (REAL-TIME MAP)

LOOK: Delaware Election Results

In the graphic below you'll find the 2012 presidential election results for the state of Delaware.

The First State and its three electoral votes were expected to go to President Barack Obama, just as in 2008, according to polls leading up to Election Day. Four years ago, Obama took the small state with over 60 percent of the vote.

Delaware has reliably voted Democratic since 1992, though in 1980 and 1984 the state went to Ronald Reagan, and in 1988 it went to George H. W. Bush.

On Election Day this year, the state also had one Senate seat up for grabs, though it seemed Democratic incumbent Tom Carper would have no trouble defeating his Republican challenger. Delaware's At-Large House seat also seemed firmly planted in the blue leading up to Nov. 6.
