DeMarco Murray's Death Stare Strikes The Heart Of The Philadelphia Eagles' Season

Yes, he's looking at you, Sam Bradford.

The Philadelphia Eagles' NFL season is off to a 0-2 start, which has some fans and newspapers crying out for the Pope's help. Not only is their record poor, but the team's star running back DeMarco Murray -- the league's leading rusher last season -- is having the worst start for a running back in NFL history.

During the Eagles' 20-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Philadelphia on Sunday, Murray took his problems right to Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford.

ICE. COLD. BURN.

After signing a contract worth $21 million guaranteed in March, the Eagles are expecting more out of Murray. Although he's running behind a shaky offensive line, in 21 rushing attempts, Murray's managed 11 total yards, a fumble and no touchdowns. That's really bad.

To put that in extraordinary perspective, slow and relatively immobile quarterbacks like Eli Manning, Joe Flacco and Phillip Rivers even have more rushing yards than Murray:

As far as one-on-one interactions go, Murray's deathstare right through Bradford is wholly appropriate, given Bradford's own poor play. He isn't faring much better than Murray, throwing four interceptions and averaging a paltry 6.29 yards per throwing attempt through two games.

Yikes. Maybe a higher power really does need to get involved to save Murray, Bradford and the rest of coach Chip Kelly's offense.
