Dharun Ravi And The Tyler Clementi Trial: Was His Sentence Fair? Vote Now!

It's Friday and that means it's time for Poll Position -- your chance to sound off on an issue facing the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.

This week we're interested in your reaction to the sentencing of Ravi Dharun, who was convicted of spying on his gay college roommate, Tyler Clementi, with a webcam.

For his crimes, Dharun received 30 days in jail and a fine of $10,000 to be paid to groups aiding victims of bias crimes.

We want to hear what you think about the sentencing. Was it fair? Too lenient? Too harsh?

Vote below and then share a more detailed response in the comments section.

Note: Aside from 30 days in jail and the fine, Ravi also received three years of probation, must perform 300 hours of community service, and is required to undergo counseling.
