Donating hair to charity just took a whole new spin -- on ice.

Disney On Ice's "Dare To Dream" show gave free tickets in exchange for a hair donation to Wigs 4 Kids. Both parents and kids donated their locks Jan. 18 in Indianapolis, Ind., with donations benefitting the Riley Children's Hospital, according to WTHR.com.

Elementary school student Molly Greer had been growing her hair for four years, knowing all the while that she wanted to donate it. Inspired by the princesses, she let her hair go with the swift snip of a scissor.

Her favorite is "Rapunzel, because she had long hair and it was gold, pretty much like mine," Greer told WTHR, adding that she plans on growing it out again to keep donating.
