CNN’s Don Lemon could not hold back his tears when he paid tribute to “PBS NewsHour” anchor Gwen Ifill, who died Monday at age 61.
Lemon’s words were heartfelt. He recalled how Ifill graciously agreed to critique his first demo tape. He called her “simply brilliant and powerful, a quiet storm.”
