Drama was the word at b michael's Fall 2015 NYFW show. The mannequins could have walked right into the storyline of the latest Shondra Rhimes dramas.

As the first model sauntered out in a scarf-tie wool metallic coat splashed with crystal and garnet ready for a dramatic showdown the tone was set. More sensual feminine suited silhouettes followed, like a Tetra collar jacket and diamond point demi-train skirt. Flirty dresses sauntered by in an open neck capelet sleeve sheath of tulle embroidery in crystal/onyx, a fluted cuff topper of chenille bouclé in black diamond/crystal, a Curve Seam Torso carousel Sweep Dress of silk mikado with dotted tulle overlay in ruby/jet and Paneled Torso Cocktail Sheath with Pyramid Sleeve Leather Bolero of metallic brocade in deep amethyst. All the models wore up swept chignons with a soft palette of ruby lips and precious metals brushed on the eyelids. Fine jewelry looks supplied by Campbellian Collection completed the elegant ensembles.

The men's wear looks were equally seductive, b Michael offered up his signature shawl collared jackets in a romantic ruby onyx pattern and velvet corduroy complete with narrow silk and wool jet trousers.

Breathtaking beautiful evening looks were debuted: a castle ball gown in silk metallic brocade, a strapless kaleidoscope ball gown of silk brocade in blue shale/lepidolite, a strapless 24 gore ball gown of silk cloqué in onyx with ruby/onyx jeweled lace overlay back and the finale, a strapless waterfall gown of cotton/wool brocade with dotted tulle overlay in turquoise/jade/onyx.

Adding to the high drama mother and daughter actresses Phylicia (The Cosby Show, Blue, A Raisin in the Sun) and Condola Rashaad (Ruined, Romeo + Juliet) closed the show in spectacular evening looks to applause. Stylish Manhattanites in attendance included Valerie Simpson, Karen Phillips, Judith Hoffman, Amelia Ogunlesi, Lloyd Boston, George Simonton, Macy's CEO Terry J. Lundgren, Amy Fine Collins, Kemberly Richardson Jean Shafiroff and Marcus Samuelsson. His collection was shown under the glass dome of the Celeste Bartos Forum of The New York Public Library. This year his collection saluted Sanctuary for Families who provides domestic violence victims, sex trafficking victims and their children with shelter, legal and clinical services, Along with Michael Bloomberg, Lee Daniels, Christie Brinkley and other notable New Yorkers b michael and his CEO Mark Anthony Edwards have been honored as New Yorks New Abolitionist a campaign to combat sex trafficking and slavery.
