The Robertsons may be self-made millionaires on "Duck Dynasty," but they're also down-home country folk. That means they're always a little uncomfortable and out of sorts when they have to go into the city and interact with people and situations there. This was no more evident than when they stepped into a high-end coffee shop.
"Are you looking for like a latte, cappuccino, breve?” the person behind the counter asked them, but it might has well have been a foreign language.
"Where’s the coffee?" Jase asked plainly. "You only have one thing that actually says coffee. Gourmet coffee."
The guys were looking for something strong, so they settled on double shots of espresso. Jase was a fan of the drink, but wasn't nearly so comfortable with all the people seemingly loafing around the shop. But then he found out why.
"Welcome to the afternoon floetry--"
"We need to get out of here," Jase declared.
Channel Guide enjoyed watching the guys ride the espresso high and it's inevitable fall, writing of the guys, "They’re soon lumbering around wandering where their regular old black coffee went."
According to the U.S. News & World Report, with the emphasis on family and the fact that "Duck Dynasty" is the number one nonfiction series on cable, the Robertsons are the new Kardashians. Only the Kardashians probably know how to order -- and handle -- that fancy coffee.
