The American people have been told by the intelligence community that our elections are under unprecedented attack and the problems with data breaches and voter fraud are REAL.

Of all the shit storms “Orange Mothra” has unleashed, from the near nuclear war with North Korea to his xenophobic Muslim ban to playing grab-ass with Nazis and White Supremacists during Rose Garden photo ops, the most crippling to America’s future is the unprecedented 2016 attack on our election system, and his ordering of, condoning or association with it.

In Sept 2017, Homeland Security told election officials in 21 states that Russian hackers targeted their voting systems prior to the 2016 election. It was a massive Russian intelligence operation so secretive… Jared Kushner only had 3 emails and 4 meetings about it.

The fundamental integrity of America’s voting systems were threatened by rogue nations, who have now demonstrated a goal of penetrating the back end of our election systems, be that manipulating and controlling voter data… or altering the outcome of the election itself.

Plain and simple: Our votes and our identities are under attack by bad actors – And I don’t mean Tom Arnold and Steven Segal. Although, they do, in fact, remain not just bad actors, but horrible ones at that.

The thing that distinguishes this great nation from ALL the other experiments in representative democracy is that each registered voter can ONLY vote once. And that for 250 some years, there has never been a significant incidence of fraudulent voting, either through ballot stuffing – by non-existent voters or compromised election officials -- or multiple votes by single or multiple individuals.

Back in September the government began to take the voting and election problem more seriously as voting systems were added to the federal list of “critical infrastructure,” like dams and power plants…

I wanted to know more, so I conducted my own investigation of voting procedures and election integrity on election day 2017 in Los Angeles county. I visited 5 polling places, spoke to more than 20 poll workers and was invited to the office of the Registrar to watch the actual process of ballot counting.

So, lets tackle a few voting issues...as I reveal what I uncovered:

First, can you be registered to vote in multiple places, vote twice and commit voter fraud?

This one took me 5 seconds to investigate. I live in Los Angeles and for 20 years, after my father votes, he calls to tell me that I’m also registered to vote at his precinct in New York.

I have NEVER lived in the home where my father currently resides. And I moved from NY 20 years ago.

For 20 years, my father has told his election officials that I live in California. He even called NY’s election commissioner . Every time he tells someone, they tell him they’ll take care of it.

Only, they don’t.

Current voter registration in two states.

Current voter registration in two states.

Oh, and one more thing: for the last 20 years, my father also reports to me that my mother is listed as an active and eligible voter, this despite having never lived in the town where my father now resides…

Also, my mother died in 1998.

So, how is it possible that I’m registered to vote in two places –like the nearly 3 million other Americans also registered in two places?

According to this poll worker, who was not authorized to speak on behalf of California’s election commission:

Q: You’re saying that the state of CA doesn’t check to see if I’m register in Arizona?
Right.
Arizona doesn’t check if I’m registered in Oklahoma.
There’s no way of doing that.
There isn’t system in place to make that happen?
Right.

That’s right. There is no system set up between the states to determine if people are registered to vote twice.
