At a Boston immigration reform rally on Saturday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) wanted her constituents to know she was speaking "from the heart."

Warren and fellow Democrat Rep. Joseph Kennedy (Mass.) addressed the crowd, making sure to deliver segments of their speech in Spanish, the Associated Press reported.

"My Spanish may not be great, but it’s coming from the heart," Warren said.

According to the Boston Globe, Kennedy led the crowd in chants of "Si se puede," and transitioned between English and Spanish throughout his speech.

The rally was attended by about 800 immigrants and community activists, according to the Associated Press. It was hosted by "Power Up for Citizenship," an immigrants' rights initiative.
