Fashion TV Blocked In India After Airing 'Offensive' Alexander McQueen Show

Fashion TV has been blocked for nine days in India after airing an Alexander McQueen runway show in which viewers could see the models' breasts, the Independent UK reports.

Originally aired in September 2009, "the visuals were found to be obscene, denigrating women and were not suitable for children and unrestricted public exhibition," a statement said.

Fashion TV was also pulled off the air in India in March 2007 for a program called "Midnight Hot," which depicted "skimpily dressed and semi-naked models."
