Inmates Escape From Federal Correctional Institution In Englewood Where Rod Blagojevich Is Serving Time

2 Inmates Escape From Blago's Colo. Prison

Two inmates escaped a minimum security federal prison Friday afternoon in Littleton.

Eric Rivera, 30, and Victor Beltran, 48, went missing from the Federal Correctional Institution in Englewood around 4 p.m., according to 7News. The prison is the same one where convicted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is serving his 14-year sentence on federal corruption charges.

Both men are from California and were serving time for drug dealing. Beltran was serving over 150 months for conspiracy to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine, while Rivera was serving 57 months for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

A spokesman for the prison said the inmates are considered non-violent and unarmed, and that U.S. Marshals are looking for both men.
