WATCH: Terrifying New Footage Of Felix Baumgartner Jump

Felix Baumgartner's historic jump from 24 miles above Earth captivated more than 8 million YouTube viewers on Oct. 14. On Monday, National Geographic announced it will air a new documentary about the Austrian daredevil, titled "Space Jump."

The documentary, set to air on Nov. 11, will feature previously unseen footage of Baumgartner's dive taken by two suit-mounted cameras by National Geographic and the BBC, according to a press release.

Additional behind-the-scenes footage will explore Baumgartner's four-year metamorphosis from elite BASE jumper to extreme altitude specialist.

Baumgartner exceeded the speed of sound during his jump and set records for the highest balloon ascent, highest parachute jump and fastest speed achieved by a human through the atmosphere.

This video captures just under two minutes of the action, including the harrowing moment where Baumgartner fell into a dangerous uncontrolled spin.
