Don't Place Fireworks In Your Butt (And Other July 4th Firework Fails)

Also, don't light up mortar shells in the garage.

Fireworks are one of the greatest things about the 4th of July.

They are also the most dangerous.

Firework fails were responsible for 11 deaths in 2015, according to a new report by the Consumer Products and Safety Commission.

In addition, an estimated 11,900 people had to be taken to the hospital with fireworks-related injuries.

Most of these injuries happen 30 days before and after July 4, so we're right in the sweet spot for fireworks-related accidents.

No one got seriously hurt in the following videos, but they show some situations you probably shouldn't try at home. Or anywhere.

Don't light up mortar shells in the garage.

Don't wake up sleeping friends with firecrackers.

Having Roman candles is no excuse to make a Roman candle-machine gun.

Don't place fireworks in your butt. Seriously.

Instead, leave the fireworks to professionals and enjoy the show like this child.
