October was quite a month for country artists Jake Owen, Love and Theft, and Florida Georgia Line. Jake hit the road for his first headlining tour, CMT On Tour: The Summer Never Ends 2012. The tour kicked off at their sold out show in New York City on October 10. I was able to catch their concert at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey on October 12. The guys will be out on the road through December.

Florida Georgia Line started the night performing their hit songs off of their EP "It'z Just What We Do," which was released back in August. The most famous song off the EP, "Cruise," has sky rocketed up the iTunes charts. The crowd went crazy when they hit the stage and were singing along to every song. The duo formed when they were students at Belmont University in Nashville. With similar musical influences such as Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Wiz Khalifa, and Lil' Wayne, you could say Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley have a very wide range of musical interests. I had the opportunity to sit down with Tyler and Brian of Florida Georgia Line after their set and asked them a few questions.

Lauren: What is it like being on tour with Jake Owen and Love and Theft?

Tyler: "It's awesome, we are all long time buddies. It's really cool to be out here together doing what we all love."

LH: You both attended Belmont University. Can you give us some feedback?

Brian: "I absolutely loved Belmont. We made friends, a lot of contacts, and it definitely sent us off with a lot of knowledge about the industry."

Tyler: "Belmont was a great four years and I highly recommend it!"

LH: What advice do you guys have for teens who want a career in the music industry?

Tyler: "The hardest thing is going to be sticking with it. Keep doing what you love and stay true to who you are. BK and I struggled for a few years, we stayed determined and it is definitely paying off"

LH: Is "Cruise" your favorite song to perform on stage?

Brian & Tyler: "We knew the song was special and our fans would like it. Right now, it is the song the crowd is most into, so it is definitely fun."

LH: If you could put together your own tour, who would you bring on the road with you?

Brian & Tyler: "Garth Brooks"

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard were one of the nicest artists I have ever met. Florida Georgia Line's debut album ("Here's To the Good Times") goes on sale December 4. The guys will kick off 2013 by joining Thompson Square as opening acts for Luke Bryan's first headlining tour, the Dirt Road Diaries Tour.

"We are forever grateful for our fans. We take it one fan at a time and try to connect to as many as we can by having signings and tweeting. We are all about our fans and love the way they are spreading our music like wildfire." - Brian & Tyler
