Discovery unveils its new seven-part series "Frozen Planet," from the makers of "Planet Earth" on Sunday, March 18. Narrated by "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin, "Frozen Planet" is a documentary about life -- and death -- at the poles of the Earth.

From beautiful ice castles underneath volcanos to glaciers as big as skyscapers to a deadly brinicle, a.k.a. "ice finger of death," that freezes anything in its path, "Frozen Planet" explores the Arctic and Antarctic like never before.
