From the U.S. Supreme Court's DOMA and Prop 8 rulings to a series of transgender student victories, 2013 was truly an incredible year for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

HuffPost Live's Josh Zepps took a look back at some of this year's milestones alongside HuffPost Gay Voices Editor Noah Michelson, transgender model and motivational speaker Isis King and Marriage Equality USA's Executive Director Brian Silva.

Still, citing the recent controversy surrounding "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson's anti-gay comments, Silva noted there's still plenty of room for improvement.
