'Glee' Will Likely End With A Bang, Matthew Morrison Says

'Glee' Will Probably End With A 'Bang'

Matthew Morrison thinks Ryan Murphy will end "Glee" with a "bang."

The star of the Fox series was on HuffPost Live to discuss his new holiday album, "A Classic Christmas," which will be released on November 19th, and discussed the upcoming conclusion of "Glee."

"Ryan Murphy always has a very high concept of what he wants to do," Morrison said in the video above. "I think he'll probably want to end this show with a bang, with something really special and different ... I think it's going to be special no matter what it is and I think it's going to be something that we haven't seen before and completely different."

"The whole [last] year of the show -- which will be next year -- was really designed around Rachel-Cory/Finn story," Murphy said, according to EW. "I always knew that. I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was -- he was in it. I knew what the last line was; she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do."

Monteith died in July 2013. "Glee" paid tribute to its late star and his character with the third episode of the show's fifth season. Morrison told HuffPost Live that Michele, Monteith's on and off-screen girlfriend, really rallied the cast and crew for the tribute episode.

"Lea was very instrumental in bringing us together. She sang the first number in that episode when we were filming it. She kind of set the bar, kind of by saying 'If I can do it, anyone can.' ... Like I said, it was a great tribute for him," Morrison said in the video below.

"Glee" airs Thursdays, 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
