Gov. Rick Snyder To Host Online Town Hall On State Of The State

Gov. Snyder To Ask For Input At Virtual Town Hall Meeting

Concerned Michigan residents will get a chance to speak with Gov. Rick Snyder about his recent State of the State speech during a virtual town hall meeting Thursday evening.

The governor has invited the public to join him in the online dialogue about Michigan at 6 p.m. on his Facebook page.

"One of my resolutions for 2012 is to spend even more time meeting with Michigan residents to discuss the important issues facing our state," the governor said.

Participants can ask questions covering the issues addressed in his State of the State address, such as jobs, infrastructure, crime and health care, as well as other topics.

They can post questions to Snyder's Facebook page, on www.michigan.gov/townhall or on Twitter @onetoughnerd using the hashtag #AskGovSnyder.
