Great American Beer Festival: 5 Events Not To Miss

GABF: 5 Can't-Miss Craft Beer Events

If you were lucky enough to nab a ticket to this year’s sold-out Great American Beer Festival event, you have more than beer tastings to look forward to. Here are other highlights to Denver’s massive craft brew event.

Food Pairings: Learn about and indulge in food pairings with nationally acclaimed chefs each night at Farm to Table events. Each session is limited to 500 ticket holders. If you want something a little snappier, stop by the Beer and Food Pavilion for pairing demonstrations, which are limited to 100 participants, but are brief and more often, and still include samples.

Designated Driver Lounge: You’re the good friend who’s agreed to drive you sloppy friends home at the end of the day – good for you! You can still get a little taste testing in at the Designated Driver Lounge where non-alcoholic craft brewed drinks will be available… as well as chair massages. Nice.

Silent Disco: Who doesn’t dance better after a few drinks? In the Silent Disco you can don a pair of wireless headphones and get jiggy with a live DJ.

You be the Judge: Give your two cents’ worth in directed tastings. Reserve your place early: Only 20 people will be allowed per session on a first-come-first-served basis.

Brewers Studio: Get inspired listening to master brewers speak in the Brewers Studio. Local craft brewers and GABF award winners will be among those on the docket.
