Man Brings Grenade In A Flower Pot To Police Station

A citizen brought a grenade to the Detroit Eastern District police station on Gratiot Avenue and Gunston Friday afternoon, according to WDIV. The station was evacuated.

According to the Detroit News, the man brought a grenade that predated World War II into the station in a flower pot after finding it in his mother's garden.

No injuries were reported, according to CBS Detroit. The DPD Bomb Squad took the grenade to Belle Isle to detonate it.
