My 19-year-old can do head to toe grunge/punk trends and look like she belongs in a magazine and not a mental institution, but this 39-year-old can't pull that off. One thing I have learned from my 19-year-old is that a little bit of the grunge/punk trend can make even a unshowered 39-year-old feel surprisingly pulled together... and well a little more youthful. Here I added studded belt and bag and was off to work and school conferences. My daughter was at a Mumford and Sons concert at the Greek Theatre.
