Henrik Lundqvist Curses: Rangers' Goalie Drops F-Bomb During NHL Awards (VIDEO)

WATCH: Lundqvist Drops F-Bomb At NHL Awards

It sounds like New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist has been taking his public speaking cues from his L.A. counterpart Jonathan Quick.

Just nine days after the Kings raised their first Stanley Cup, the NHL capped its season by recognizing the sport's top performers in Las Vegas. Lundqvist -- who was nominated alongside Quick, the Stanley Cup MVP -- took home the Vezina Trophy as the best goaltender. After receiving the honor, the 30-year-old Swede dropped a four-letter word of his own on live television.

The f-bomb was met with laughter and applause from the crowd but the netminder still apologized for his language.

"Sorry," Lundqvist laughed. "But it feels good!"

The end-of-season awards are voted by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association prior to the start of the NHL playoffs. The Vezina Trophy, however, is voted by the league's general managers.

Lundqvist recorded stellar numbers during the 2011-12 season, posting a career-best .930 save percentage and 39 wins as he lead the Rangers to their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 1997.
