'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' Premiere: Family Hits Redneck Games, Bobs For Pigs' Feet (VIDEO)

'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo': Bobbing For Pigs' Feet At Redneck Games

The promos featuring Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson shouting "You'd better redneck-ognize!" set the tone of her "Toddlers & Tiaras" spinoff. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" (Wed., 10 p.m. ET on TLC) follows the six-year old pageant contestant and her redneck family.

That's not a derogatory dig, either, as they seem to want to embody every redneck stereotype Jeff Foxworthy ever cited. They headed off to the Redneck Games, an annual event, where Alana's sister, Pumpkin, bobbed for pigs' feet.

But it was a double-loss day for the family. Alana had lost at a beauty pageant earlier in the day, while Pumpkin failed to take home top honors in her challenge. For Alana, though, her dad tried to cheer her up by getting her a pig.

It was a lot of silliness, and "Honey Boo Boo" certainly had critics talking. Zap2It says it may be everything wrong with America -- but fun, so who really cares -- while Buddy TV takes it a step further, dubbing her a sign of the apocalypse.

Come to your own conclusions by tuning in to "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" every Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
