Hollywood Feuds: Actors And Directors Who Fought Over Projects

Actors Vs. Directors: Great Moments In Hollywood Feuds

"Tony Kaye is a very complicated, interesting fellow," Bryan Cranston said to reporters about his "Detachment" director. No kidding, Bryan! Kaye is infamous for his run-ins with actors and producers, which might have something to do with why he's directed just six movies since 1998.

"I don't believe that I'll be working with him again," Cranston continued, before citing Kaye's treatment of the film's script as the cause of his issues. "I didn't not get along with him on a personal level. But I just honor the writing. I really think that writing is the most important element there is. It is the springboard. It is where everything starts. And if you don't honor that -- which I didn't feel it was -- then where are you?"

Indeed. Of course, Cranston isn't the first actor to speak out against his or her director or film project. Ahead, eight other director/star clashes.
