In the winter months, the only thing worse than having ice all over your windshield is having to spend a lot for a windshield deicer. Here's an inexpensive, yet effective, alternative to deice your windshield and windows: 1 part antifreeze, 4 1/2 parts alcohol, and 4 1/2 parts water.

Editor's Note: While antifreeze will de-ice the windshield, please be very careful about how you use, store and dispose of it. Keep it away from small pets and children.
