The beginning of President Barack Obama's second term was marked by a massive celebration in Washington, D.C. Thousands flocked to the nation's capital for the 2013 inaugural events.

While the presidential oath of office is the highlight of the presidential Inauguration, other major moments include the Inaugural parade, vice presidential oath of office and performances by artists like James Taylor, Beyonce and Stevie Wonder.
