A frightening moment occurred during a game between the Knicks and the Magic in Orlando on Tuesday evening when a member of the Magic's stunt team fell head first and needed to be taken off the court on a stretcher.

The Magic cheerleader, Jamie Woode, was being lifted on another man's shoulders, but her foot slipped and she fell to the hardwood causing a delay between the first and second quarters.

As Woode was being placed on the stretcher, the crowd and members of both teams began to cheer for her. She then raised her arms and waved, earning a much louder ovation from the fans.

The Orlando Magic official Twitter account released an update on Woode's condition.

"Breathing on her own, moving her extremities, according to paramedics which attended to her," Magic spokesman Joel Glass said in an e-mail to USA Today.

On Wednesday morning, the team released another update, revealing that Woode broke a rib and suffered three vertebrae fractures in the fall. Despite those injuries, the team reports that she has no neurological damage and is expected to make a complete recovery.
