Jane Lynch Reveals Crush On Olivia Newton-John In 'Grease' To Conan O'Brien

Which TV Star Confessed To Having A 'Big Lesbo Crush' On Olivia Newton-John In 'Grease'?

Like many performers who grew up in the 1970s, Jane Lynch was a big fan of "Grease" -- but in an interview with Conan O'Brien, the "Glee" star revealed an even more personal connection to the classic movie musical's star, Olivia Newton-John.

"She was it for me,” Lynch said. "I just loved her -- I named my dog after her. My dog’s name is Olivia. I had a big lesbo crush on her, and I named my dog after her.”

Newton-John performed a rendition of her smash hit "Physical" alongside Lynch on an episode of "Glee" during the series' first season. Lynch says the Aussie singer-actress mostly laughed off the crush: "She embraced it and thought it was really cute."

Lynch also joked how much she "loved" Newton-John's "Grease" co-star, John Travolta: "I knew every plane of his face. I knew the dimple in his chin… the light eyes with the dark lashes. I loved him, I loved him, but I think what it is is that I wanted to be him. I didn’t want to make out with him.”
