Jason Logsdon Salon Robberies: 'Bad Hair Bandit' Charged After His BB Gun-Assisted Robbery Spree

'Bad Hair Bandit' Charged In More Than A Dozen Salon Robberies

Cops have finally snipped the salon robbing spree of an Evanston, Ill. man who allegedly knocked off more than a dozen beauty parlors in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

The Chicago Tribune reports Jason Logsdon has been linked to 15 area armed robberies and charged with 11, according to the Cook County State's Attorney's office.

Police caught up with Logsdon after an eyewitness to the Monday morning robbery in Chicago saw a portion of the license plate on Logsdon's getaway car. Skokie police found the plate was in their system since they had pulled the car over twice in the past for minor traffic violations, according to the Sun-Times.

The car was registered to an Evanston woman who told CBS Chicago from behind her locked door, “I’m done. I’m sorry,” when asked if she knew who was driving the car when it was pulled over and later towed Monday night.

Though no one was hurt in any of the holdups, as many as six suburbs are collaborating with Chicago police. Charges against Logsdon were filed in Cook County, though police say DuPage County is conducting an investigation of its own.
