Jay Z's 'Made In America' Documentary Premieres: Behind The Scenes At The Inaugural Event

Watch Jay Z's Ron Howard-Directed 'Made In America' Doc

Jay Z's Made in America Festival gets the behind-the-scenes treatment in a new documentary from Oscar-winning director Ron Howard. The inaugural two-day Philadelphia event, which wrapped its second iteration on Sept. 1, is showcased in the new movie, which premiered Friday night on Showtime.

Now the full 90-minute film is available online, featuring the lead-up to 2012's concert as well as performers prepping their sets. That includes the likes of Odd Future, Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Passion Pit, Janelle Monae and, of course, Hov himself. The documentary includes Howard receiving an introductory DJ session from Skrillex and a precious elderly lady who lives next to the festival's fairgrounds and is not enthused about its presence.
