Jean Shrimpton's Adorable Mini Dress... And How To Get It

This Model Shares A Name With Seafood

During the swinging '60s in London, mini skirts were in and everybody was embracing a new fashion scene. Jean Shrimpton, one of the most famous models of all time and nicknamed "The Shrimp" for her petite frame, was right alongside Twiggy as a major style icon of the decade. She spanned the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Glamour. She was also best recognized for her fringe bang hairstyle, doe-eyes and wispy eyelashes. In this 1966 photo, Shrimpton looks hip while lounging on a couch in a printed mini dress, paired with lace-up cutout skimmer shoes and minimal jewelry. We're totally in love with the photo--would you wear a mini dress like Shrimpton's today?
