Jennifer Lawrence Sick: Actress Might Not Attend SAG Awards Due To Pneumonia

Jennifer Lawrence Sick With Pneumonia

Sounds like Jennifer Lawrence is really under the weather.

The Oscar-nominated actress, 22, wasn't able to attend the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, Jan. 26, due to a severe bout of pneumonia. Her "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Jacki Weaver accepted an absent Lawrence's Best Actress trophy, revealing her illness to the audience.

"I'm going to receive this on her behalf," Weaver announced at the podium. "Poor Jen is really sick. She really is sick. She has pneumonia."

But, according to "Silver Linings Playbook" producer Bruce Cohen, Lawrence is trying her best to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards tonight, where she is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role alongside Jessica Chastain, Marion Cotillard, Helen Mirren and Naomi Watts.

"With all her appearances, she hasn't gotten enough bed rest, but I think her plan is to be at the SAGs tomorrow," Cohen told Us Weekly last night, adding, "I haven't spoken to her recently."

Considering Lawrence already nabbed a Golden Globe for her performance, we hope she's able to walk the red carpet tonight.

The 19th Annual SAG Awards will air on Sunday, Jan. 27 on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. EST.
