Jeremy Evans Dunks On Gerald Wallace: Jazz Forward Gets Called For Charge (VIDEO)

Jazz Forward Throws Down Jaw-Dropping Dunk.. That Doesn't Count

If Jazz forward Jeremy Evans' dunk had counted, it certainly would have been nominated for dunk of the year (even though it's just preseason). In the fourth quarter of Utah's preseason finale against Portland, Josh Howard lost control of the ball on a fast break but was able to deliver a pass to Evans cutting through the key. Portland's Gerald Wallace quickly got into a defensive position just outside the no-charge zone, but nothing was going to stop Evans from putting the ball through the hoop. The 24-year-old sophomore jumped off two feet, soared over Wallace and threw down a monstrous one-handed dunk. But unfortunately for Evans, the referee said Wallace was in a good position and called an offensive foul. But don't worry Evans, the charging call doesn't change the fact you completely posterized Wallace.
